Monthly BCBA Meetings
Our meetings are held at the West Barnstable Community Center on the second Tuesday of each month September through May at 7:30 pm. Social time starts at 7 pm.
Please note that due to Covid-19 there are no in person meetings at this time.
Barnstable County Fair
Come and visit the Honey House July of each year during the Barnstable County Fair. Join us for educational presentations and find the queen in our observation hive. Explore what it is like to be a beekeeper, and chat with members of our club. Member honey and a variety of honey based products are for sale.

Did You Know?
The normal top speed of a worker bee is around 15 to 20 miles per hour when flying to a food source and about 12 miles an hour when returning to the hive. The "buzz" that a bee makes is the sound of its wings, which beat about 230 beats per second.
